2026 FAADV examination (Hanoi)

The 8th Examination of Fellowship in Dermatopathology (2026)

Organization: The Asian Academy of Dermatology & Venereology (AADV), Asian Society of Dermatopathology (ASD)

Date of Examination: November 11 (Wednesday), 2026

Examination Centre: National Hospital of Dermatology and Venereology, Hanoi 

Who shall attend: 

1. Eligible candidates: Candidates who have 1-year dermatopathology practicing experience, including at least 3-month full-time AADV recognizing dermatopathology training courses, and/or candidates certified to have equivalent training as approved by the Censor-in-Chief.
2. Other candidates: Candidates who have not completed the qualified dermatopatholgy training approved by the Censor-in-Chief, such as senior residents in dermatology or pathology.

Program (Nov 11, Wed): 

• 8:00-8:30 registration
• 8:30-10:30 written test
• 10:30-11:00 break
• 11:00-13:00 slide test
• 13:00-14:00 lunch break
• 14:00-17:00 oral test (viva): eligible candidates only
• 17:00-18:00 examiner's meeting

Examination Fees:

• US$300 for Eligible candidates (three parts, written, slide, and oral test). 
• US$200 for Other candidates (two parts, written and slide tests only) . 

Payment:

• Pay online: login ASD in either member/associate member/non-member and click Subscription.
• Wire transfer: contact Secretariat ASD for bank account details.

Certificate:

• The certificate will be issued to those Eligible candidates who have passed successfully all 3 parts (written, slide, and oral test) of the examination.
• The certificate will NOT be issued for non-eligible Other candidates even if they passed two parts of examination.
